Bund Road
Bund Road is a beautiful tourist destination situated along the banks of the Monthal River, covering Wards 12 and 14 of Chokli Grama Panchayat. The destination attracts a large number of tourists because of the lush mangrove forests that grow abundantly on both sides of the road.
It is a popular spot that attracts many visitors, particularly during the evenings. Through the initiatives of the Grama Panchayat and the District Tourism Promotion Council (DTPC), several basic amenities and facilities have been provided at the location.
Two cafeterias that remain open from the evening until late at night have been established. Seating facilities have also been provided for visitors. Smart AI cameras have been installed for security and surveillance. Bottle booths and waste bins have been provided for waste management, along with boards displaying cleanliness and environmental awareness messages.
