Chokli Grama Panchayat Family Health Centre Achieves Double National Accreditation

The Chokli Family Health Centre, which has become a model in the healthcare sector with its excellent facilities and services, received the prestigious National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) accreditation after securing 91.02% marks in an assessment conducted by the Union Ministry of Health in March 2026.

The Nidumbram Ayushman Arogya Mandir (People's Health Centre), functioning at Regis Trophy under the Chokli Family Health Centre, was inspected by a Central Health Department team on 18 July 2026. The assessment was led by Dr. M. A. Anoop from Tamil Nadu and Dr. D. I. Suresh from Andhra Pradesh.

When the Union Ministry announced its quality accreditation results, seven healthcare institutions from Kerala secured recognition. Among them, the Nidumbram Sub Centre in Chokli emerged as the top performer, securing the highest score of 95.34%.

Through this achievement, the Chokli Family Health Centre has earned two National Accreditations within a period of just eight months.

The continuous achievement of such recognitions has been made possible through the wholehearted assistance and support provided by the Central Government, State Government, and Local Self-Government Institutions in strengthening the basic infrastructure and day-to-day functioning of primary healthcare centres over the years.

Furthermore, these remarkable achievements were made possible through the dedication and sincere efforts of the healthcare staff who have served at the health centre, along with the constant support and encouragement of the Grama Panchayat governing committees.
