Veettiloru Samrambham
As part of the Annual Plan of Chokli Grama Panchayat, the “A Venture at Every Home” (Veettiloru Samrambham) project has been launched to promote self-employment opportunities for women and the general category. As part of the initiative, the “Varnam Readymade” enterprise was inaugurated by Shri N. Anoop, President of Chokli Grama Panchayat.
The project was launched in Ward No. 4 of Chokli Grama Panchayat, at the residence of Mahija, a former CDS member. A tailoring unit has been set up at the residence, along with a facility for the sale of readymade garments.
A large number of people attended the inauguration ceremony. The first sale was conducted by handing over garments to Rajani Babu, CDS Vice-Chairperson.
During the function, VEO Shibin, Kudumbashree RP Shimna, former ward member M. Santhosh, and Mahija addressed the gathering.
